Freezing Cold

Omg. I'm freezing cold in this small computer compartment of my college library. There are at least 50 computers in this room - it's like a tiny CC except no one's yelling or punching the air. It's less noiser, aside from the crunching of the keys on the keyboard. And I'm trying not to embarrass myself anymore - because I've just embarrassed myself about 3 minutes ago when I started this blog entry. I don't know what I did - I just started typing and a few people around me turned to look. O.o Okayyy. What, I'm not supposed to make any noise when I type?

Anyway, it's super duper cold and I feel like I'm up in Peacehaven or something. Thank God I chose to wear my new black hoodie today. I should be back home by now because my American History class just ended. But I chose to stay back and study for tomorrow's Calculus test until 6pm. If you think that's crazy, I almost wanted to stay until 7, but then my friends gave me this "Are you nuts" look and I decided, yeah, maybe spending 3 hours on Calculus isn't such a good idea. So I reduced it to 2 hours. But heck - I'm going to spend about 35 minutes blogging. So much for staying back to study, huh? Lol. So much has happened lately. I mean, since I last blogged, which was about... 5 days ago. I fell sick on Sunday (alot of people's been getting sick lately, I think its the screwed up weather) and did nothing else except sleep, bathe, watch a HORRIBLE movie (Fool's Gold. It gave me a bigger headache because I was trying to understand the plot. But it's a lousy movie, so don't bother watching - unless you have a crush on Kate Hudson or Matthew McCounoughey or treasure hunting in the ocean) and sleep. Then on Monday, I had some stomach pains. It lasted until Wednesday. The fever has subsided alot, and I'm practically well and fine right now. Except, my late night sleepings due to midterms hasn't really helped much. I've been poring over my textbooks, forcing myself to study... and yes, I've actually studied alot more compared to last semester. But if I keep doing this, I'm just going to drive myself crazy.

In Calculus class today, something funny happened between my Calculus lecturer and my classmate. This is rather random anyway. My lecturer was writing an equation on the whiteboard.
Girl: Sir, is that coming out for our exam?
Lecturer: Maybe.
Girl: Seriously. Is something like that going to come out?
Lecturer: Yeah.
Girl: F*CK!!!
At that point, all of us had frozen and just turned and stared at her. Slowly, the lecturer looked up and asked, "Excuse me? What did you say?"
Everyone burst out laughing and the girl just shook her head repeatedly in embarrassment.

Anyway, before I get back to my studying... I noticed that Aaron has tagged me in his blog. I decided to drop by and do the tag, and I got my earphones plugged into my ears cuz I didn't see any speakers beside the comp. I was happily listening to Mariah Carey's Bye Bye on my mp3, and suddenly I was aware of a David Cook song playing off the speakers. It was pretty loud... and it sounded nearby. Everyone in the room was looking around for the source of the sound and so was I. I could hear it too, though it sounded muffled because I had my earphones on. It was obviously quite distracting, so whoever who was listening to it should probably get a headstart and like, tone down the volume or something. Hello, people are busy here? No one's really interested in listening to David Cook, (though I'm an exception), but I'm blogging? And just as I was about to ask the guy on my right where the sound was coming from, I got the answer almost right away.

It was coming from my CPU. Oh Shit. I realized that I'd opened Aaron's blog in a new tab about 2 minutes ago but hadn't checked the page yet. Shitttt.
I plugged off my earphones and the sound was OBVIOUSLY from my computer! It just sounded muffled because I had the earphones on. But when I took them off... OMG the music was LOUD. No wonder everyone was staring. I did not dare to meet any of their gazes. I had no idea that the speakers were built into the CPU. I thought I was on an unlucky computer, with no speakers. So calmly, I clicked on Aaron's blog, pressed PAUSE on his music player and took a deep breath, then came back to blog. I pretended like I was unaware that everyone had been watching. So I plugged my earphones on again and continued blogging like nothing happened. Anything to cut the tension. After a while, they all went back to minding their own business. Though I pretended to be unaffected, deep inside I was burning with humiliation. ARGH. Today just wasn't a good day.

Oh - the tag. Aaron, it'd better be worth it, after I'd just faced public moritification! xd
