Alright, frankly speaking, I never really adored sushi because I dislike seaweed. Most people think seaweed is like the ideal snack but I never liked it. I'd normally peel off the seaweed before attending to the delicious content of the sushi. Yeah, I'm weird, but I just don't like the way seaweed tastes. It feels like melting paper. Until today, I won't say I'm a fan of seaweed, but I've learned to enjoy sushi with the seaweed. In fact, the reason why I'm blogging about this is because I've got nothing better to blog about, and I just had sushi for dinner today! :) Is this random or is this random? Haha.
Lately, I've been freaking out over exams and assignments. Wednesday was probably the worst day of the week because I went back to high school and collected my SPM results, and it's obvious that my results weren't above average. I was so scared when I walked into the office that day and the clerk handed me my SPM result slip, and I instinctively flipped it to the other side I wouldn't have to look at my marks - not yet. It took me about 10 minutes to actually calm down and slowly turn the paper over... and when I did, I wasn't sure whether to be contented or disappointed. To be precise, I got 4A's. The rest were just B's and C's, and I got a freaking D for Chemistry. I don't give a damn about Chemistry, just glad I didn't fail. But I couldn't get over my disappointment with my EST. That's like, one of the easiest subjects on the list. In fact, most people would say that it's the easiest subject compared to all the other 9. I just didn't think I'd get a B for it. When I told my parents about my results, I half-expected them to launch into a painful lecture, but they didn't, to my surprise. My dad was fine about it but my mom wasn't. She didn't lecture me though. We argued over it for a while, but made up in the end. I've learned to understand that SPM's just a stupid exam that determines whether you'll get a place in the course that you want in college - and whether you're lucky enough to score a scholarship to finance your fees. I mean, it's quite important but it's not that big of a deal now anyway. Lol. But since I didn't do very well in SPM, I'm definitely going to do better in college!!
I spent the whole week worrying over my Physics test, which I absently thought was tomorrow. Then when I checked my calender this evening, I realized that my Physics test was next week. haha. Silly me =p But that's a huge relief.
Chilie is finally back from the Sarawak mission trip! At church today, she was telling me some of the lame jokes she learned throughout the trip. The jokes were so un-funny that they actually became funny. That's what lame jokes are about, right?
Chilie: What do you call a drink that makes you fat?
Me: I don't know...
Chilie: No. It's plum juice (plump juice)
Me: .....
Chilie: What's the longest drink?
Me: Driiiiiiink?
Chilie: It's Longan.
Me: Gosh, what happened to you?!
Hahaha Chilie's finally become lame! Yay! Don't worry, girl. God heals the lame ;)
Apparently in Sarawak, they eat WORMS. Like, huge, fat and juicy white worms. They said that those worms are very rich in protein. She described it to me, and it sounded like a scene right out of Fear Factor.

Imagine having to eat that!
Verrry rich in proteins.
I'd pass out.
