27 Dresses
What I liked about the movie: It was funny.
What I didn't like about the movie: Too cliche, no cute guy.
The movie was pretty romantic, though. After it ended, we began talking about our future dream proposals.
CL said, "I want to propose to my future fiance on the beach. Damn romantic loh!"
HS said, "You go to the Port Dickson beach lah! Free of charge!"
Aaron said, "I want to propose on the boat! Just like the movie."
I think HS said he wanted to propose in a beautiful garden. I can't really recall what he said.
Then they asked me where I wanted to be proposed, and that got me thinking... and I realized that I never thought about that before. Really, I mean I've thought of my perfect dream wedding before, but I've never thought about the proposal... and proposals are apparently pretty important too. You can't just have a cincai one, because you're probably going to have to re-tell it to your friends over and over again when they ask, "So, how did he propose to you??"
And I think this is the guy's duty to use his creativity to the max - to come up with the most romantic proposal he can think of.
Lol. Well, that was a good question. My dream proposal. I'll dream up about it and blog it here one day. =) But you know, marriage is still a LOOONG way more. When I get a boyfriend, I'll start thinking about it. Haha. I'll have all the time to slowly scrutinize and plan out and wish for the perfect proposal.
Silly me. I'm supposed to be studying for my Physics make-up test. (I failed my previous one because I um, forgot to study for it... so um, I have to study harder for the next one so I um, don't fail it.)
Haha some people are just so funny. "Make-up tests" generally means repeating the test when you've failed it, so you can have a second chance at passing it.
Yesterday at Nando's, over dinner, I told my friends that I was having a Physics make-up test on Monday.
CL widened his eyes and went, "Sorry? Make-up test?"
Qian asked, "Uh, what program are you doing again ah?"
I replied, "American Degree Program."
Qian, "Wah so cool. They teach you how to make-up also?"
At this point, my eyebrows were raised. "Huh? Why so random?" Since when did I mention about ... ohhh!! They didn't get my statement!
So I explained it to them and they started laughing and CL was like, "Sorry! I thought you meant make-up as in, the normal kind of make-up."
Next time, I'll just say test. And if it's another make-up test, I'll just say redemption test.
