My cousin brother is rather lucky. He just turned seven a couple of weeks ago and guess what his father bought him?
A cellphone.
And it's not a fake one - it's a friggin' real Nokia phone! With a Sim Card and a battery! And a charger, I would like to add. WTH?! I mean, I got my first cellphone when I was fifteen. Earlier this year I saw an 11-year-old girl babbling into her cellphone and I thought that it was a rare occasion for a kid that young to be having her own cellphone. She can't possibly have a boyfriend at that age, could she?
And now my own seven-year-old teeny-weeny cousin brother has a phone. OMG.
It's not like he knows how to send text messages. All he does on it is play games and call up his dad once in a while when he's bored. He should be given a gameboy - not a cellphone.
Oh wait, he already has a gameboy. That was like, his Christmas present two years ago or something.
Is it just me, or are kids these days getting overly pampered with the latest technology?
