Fresh Start

Moved into my new apartment yesterday morning and spent all day and night unpacking. Technically, it's old but it's my first time living here. I used to live on the other side of campus last semester. So, apart from this apartment being a really old building with paper-thin walls, the place is decent. I'm grateful for my roomie, Katrina (we each have our own bedrooms, which is so awesome). She's such a sweet, warm person with a huge heart for people. She's also a good friend of mine. Katrina's an RA so she got to move in a week before everyone else moved in. She decorated the living room and dining room, added pretty pictures on the bare walls and spruced up the place with pleasant rugs, funky furniture and a TV.

Before I give you a tour of our little apartment, I'll show you my room before it received a makeover.

For the longest time, I just stood at the door frame and asked myself, "Hmm... where should I begin?" 

It took me many long hours to finish my room, but by 11PM, it looked completely different.

Now, apartment tour can begin.

I'm absolutely in love with my new room. :D It's cozy and clean and colorful!

So, this is my home for the next few months until I graduate in December. 

It's not a big place, but it's cozy and comfortable. :)
