It's light, it's awesome and it's my new favorite gadget now (besides the phone). I got a pretty good deal on it.
It's called Kyle. I believe in naming my gadgets because they're important to me! People name their guitars and cars all the time, so I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one. :) Yes, I'm cheesy like that.
This sexy little thing will be the new eye behind my photography. Best Saturday ever!!! :D

Kyle looks quite the stud! How much was his fetching price? =) Anyways, glad that you finally settled on getting your first e'er DSLR - i see that you have already been making much headway with it... i know he will serve you well. :)
Thanks, Timothy. This camera has been a huge blessing from my parents and I'm so grateful I finally got it. :) Thank you and Vincent for your help too! You guys were the ones who taught me about cameras and influenced my final decision making.
I paid $876 for the whole thing: camera body, basic kit lens (18-55mm) and the UV filter. The memory card was free.
