Gibberish

I apologize for the randomness of this post; I promise I'll delete it tomorrow evening or something. Haha. I just need to update. And though it may consist of rubbish, I can't help it; because my week's been really crappy anyway.
I'd just spent nearly 4 hours straight on the computer. Oh no. My eyes. O.o So much for "I promise I'll look after my eyesight" and "not more than 2 hours per day on the comp". Yeah right. I can't even commit. Sigh. Anyway, at least I finally did something eventful today; I completed like 5% of my assignments. 5% down, 95% to go!! That's weird; I don't even feel the tiniest bit relieved.
Anyway, I still have plenty more to do. 95% isn't a small number. Sighh. I know. Plus I have to get everything done before the end of the month. Stressing... stressing... I need to de-stress!!! Usually, I unwind by doing some shopping during the weekend, or alternatively, I stay home and watch DVDs (less expensive). But I'm already running out of DVDs to watch! Then the other day I had a silly argument with my brother. He and I totally cannot see eye-to-eye when it comes to DVDs.
I said I wanted to buy the Kung Fu Panda dvd because I think it's worth it... everyone was announcing how great it was... I felt so left out because the latest movie I'd watched was Made Of Honor. My brother was like, "Don't waste 8 bucks on the DVD lah. Go download." After vacillating between 'to buy' or 'not to buy', I decided to side his method and save 8 bucks by using Limewire to download Kung Fu Panda.
It took about 3 long days for the download bar to finally reach 100%. I was SO happy. But when I tried to play it, the stupid file was not supported by my comp! I tried everything - from RealPlayer to Windows Media Player to Nero.. I was even so desperate I tried that Microsoft MovieMaker thing (just anything that could play videos) but nothing worked. Frustrated, I asked my brother what was wrong then he said "Oh. You should've downloaded the file that RealPlayer can support...like mp4."
Okay fine.
I went ahead and downloaded an mp4 file this time. Then I tried to open it, but failed again. Then my brother said, "I think you might need to download a special program to play the movie..."
And my patience level had reached its peak. After patiently waiting for 5 days...
Me: You know what?! I'll just BUY THE DVD.
Bro: Eh but you're going to waste Rm8!
Me: So? Your money or my money??

He shut up after that.

Haha. I know I was quite mean about it. But he wouldn't stop 'lecturing' me about how I could be getting a dvd for free by just downloading it online. Look, if you think buying pirated DVDs is bad enough, what about downloading movies off the internet? Hey, at least I'm paying for my DVD!
And therefore, I strongly encourage you all to buy pirated DVDs too. Give those DVD sellers a job. A reason to live. And you could be saving a whole lot of money from buying the original copies, because their qualities are almost alike. I don't know about yours, but mine are fine. I buy them from Summit :) It's a great place for DVDs and movies. The cinema tickets there are like Rm5 or something. Less than Rm10 for sure. And they have plenty of DVD stores. If you know the people there well, you can get a dvd for like Rm7 :) Hehe.

You guys remember my lil cousin bro? He's only 7 this year. Really cute. Lives next door.
He's EXTREMELY SKINNY. Even his schoolbag weighs more than him. So his mom's always forcing him to eat. The other day during dinner, I was feeding him with rice and I noticed that he has this really funny way of eating (which was what I used to do when I was little):
He takes like 3 minutes to swallow a spoon of rice. He lets the rice stay in his mouth, moves his jaw up and down but does not swallow. And he couldn't finish the whole bowl - there were about 3 scoops of rice there; he only ate 2.
Me: You should eat more. You're so thin.
Him: No. I'm fat.
I was shocked. He's a seven-year-old BOY. And he's only at 20 kg+. Damn freaking skinny. People call him "skinny chicken". And he said he's fat. It's seriously hard to get him to eat because he keeps saying he's full.
Who on earth is he mixing with at school? A bunch of anorexic kids?!
Well last night over dinner, I tried a way to get him to eat more.
Me: You better eat more. If not, when you grow up, you won't get a girlfriend.
Him: Why?
Me: Just eat your fish laa.
Him: Don't want.. I'm full...
Me: Yeah right. I'll tell you a secret. *ahem* Fish will make you more handsome.
Him: (enthusiastically) Really ah??
Me: Yeah. Of course. So, you want to be handsome or not?
Him: (shyly) *nods*
Me: Then eat your fish.

He ate the whole thing. :)
