This semester is looking to be cuh-rayyy-zeee. Crazy, crazy.
It's also my last semester at UCA. Come to think of it... I'm graduating in December and I'll be bidding student life a big, emotional farewell. :'(
Classes started less than 2 weeks ago. I'm taking 3 creative writing classes (Blogging, Forms of Fiction and Writing for Children's Books), a journalism class (Principles of Online Journalism), two campus publications (the newspaper and the yearbook) and I'm also doing an internship on campus with the College of Fine Arts and Communication.
So far, school has been fun. I really enjoy what I do. I used to have second thoughts about journalism when I first started. The workload was more than I'd hoped for, and I was constantly having the pre-interview jitters when I had to interview someone on an article. It took several more interviews, writing, and plenty of preparation to finally overcome that fear.
Let's hope (fingers crossed) that I won't burn out this semester under the pressure of my assignments, but will continue to burn brighter than ever.
